Baquiran of the Operations Group as Officer-in-Charge of the BIR while the Commissioner is on approved personal leave from June 10 to 14, 2026. The OIC may perform all powers and duties of the Commissioner except: (1) signing revenue travel assignment orders and revenue special orders for reassignment of personnel; (2) approving original and promotional appointments; (3) approving decisions on administrative cases involving dismissal of revenue officials and employees; and (4) all powers that cannot be delegated under Section 7 of the Tax Code of 1997, as amended. The Order takes effect on June 10, 2026 and is automatically revoked upon the Commissioner's return for official duty.
