Baquiran of the Operations Group as Officer-in-Charge of the BIR while the Commissioner attends the 55th Annual Meeting of SGATAR in Singapore from September 7 to 10, 2026. The Officer-in-Charge may perform the powers and duties of the Commissioner on all matters except: signing revenue travel assignment orders and revenue special orders for reassignment of personnel; approval of original and promotional appointments; approval of decisions on administrative cases involving dismissal of revenue officials and employees; and all powers that cannot be delegated under Section 7 of the National Internal Revenue Code of 1997, as amended. The order takes effect on September 7, 2026 and is automatically revoked upon the Commissioner's return.
