Reference copy · verify against the official sourceRMC No. 153-2022 (issued December 12, 2022) announces the availability of the BIR Online Registration and Update System (ORUS), a web-based facility for end-to-end processing of taxpayer registration, accessible via the eServices icon on www.bir.gov.ph or at https://orus.bir.gov.ph. Its features (issuance of TIN for foreign individuals, business registration with electronic COR and ATP issuance, ATP application/use of BIR printed receipts/invoices, employer account enrollment, and registration of books of accounts) roll out in phases to listed Revenue Regions/RDOs from December 12, 2022 through December 29, 2022, with nationwide coverage including Large Taxpayer service units on January 16, 2023. Taxpayers of covered RDOs who use the facility must enroll or create an ORUS account and provide a valid permanent official email address updated per RMC No. 122-2022.
