RMC No. 18-2024 (issued January 31, 2024) announces that two BIR forms are now available in the Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS): BIR Form No. 1700 (Annual Income Tax Return for Individuals Earning Purely Compensation Income, due on or before April 15 of each year for the preceding taxable year) and BIR Form No. 2000 (Monthly Documentary Stamp Tax Declaration/Return, due within five days after the close of the month the taxable document was made, signed, issued, accepted or transferred, or upon reloading of a metering machine or remittance by revenue collection agents). All taxpayers mandated to use eFPS must file these returns and pay any taxes due through eFPS, effective immediately.
