Reference copy · verify against the official sourceRMC No. 31-2024 (Feb. 27, 2024) tells employers that newly-hired employees are not required to verify their TIN or obtain a TIN Verification slip from a Revenue District Office. RDOs must not accept manual TIN verification requests or issue TIN Verification slips for employment purposes, except in four listed situations. Employers should instead verify new hires' TINs through the ORUS Online TIN Verification facility or the BIR Chatbot Revie, and the result displayed there is considered sufficient for verification purposes.
