RMC No. 36-2023 (issued March 20, 2023) announces that, starting March 17, 2023, the BIR's Online Registration and Update System (ORUS) offers new registration-related online services: online payment of the Annual Registration Fee for new business registrants, an online inquiry of RF payment for BIR internal users, online application for cancellation of the Permit to Use (PTU) of loose-leaf and the Acknowledgement Certificate (AC) of a Computerized Accounting System (CAS), online TIN verification, and a BIR Registered Business Search Facility. Taxpayers with existing ORUS accounts may use these via the BIR website's eServices icon or at https://orus.bir.gov.ph; those without accounts must first enroll under the guidelines in RMC No. 122-2022.
