RMC No. 52-2024 (April 8, 2024) announces that the BIR Electronic Tax Clearance System (eTCS) is now available on the BIR website for taxpayer-applicants registered under Revenue Region No. 8A – Makati City, the pilot region, under the eServices icon "eTCS". The pilot covers Tax Clearance for Bidding Purposes (TCBP, for non-large taxpayers bidding on government procurement), Tax Clearance for General Purposes (TCGP, e.g., PNP SOSIA, LTFRB franchise renewal, bank loans), plus the related TCVC and DVR prerequisites secured from the RDO Collection Section. Applicants can register, submit requirements, pay Certification and Doc Stamp Fees, and download their tax clearance online; a User's Manual is on the eTCS homepage.
