Reference copy · verify against the official sourceRMC No. 61-2022 announces that single proprietors, corporations and partnerships may now process their BIR registration online through the expanded Central Business Portal (CBP), an online platform integrating business registration with the SEC, DTI, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG Fund and selected Metro Manila LGUs. CBP registrants may pay the P500 Annual Registration Fee and P30 loose documentary stamp tax either electronically or manually. Those paying online may immediately print an electronic Certificate of Registration with a QR code, which has the same purpose as the Bureau's signed hard copy and must be posted at the principal place of business. Those paying manually must complete registration at their Revenue District Office by presenting the CBP-generated documents. All CBP registrants must still proceed to the RDO to buy BIR printed receipts/invoices or secure an Authority to Print, register their books of accounts by the earlier of the initial quarterly or annual income tax return deadline, and coordinate any corrections of registered tax/form types with the RDO.
