It restates civil service rules on maternity, paternity and adoption leave: female government employees are granted 105 days of maternity leave with full pay for live childbirth (60 days for miscarriage or emergency termination of pregnancy), with solo-parent add-on leave, extension without pay, allocation of up to seven days to the child's father or an alternate caregiver, and rules on availment during pending administrative cases and after separation. Married male government employees are entitled to seven working days of paternity leave with full pay for the first four deliveries.
