RMC No. 86-2024 Digest

RMC No. 86-2024 (issued August 5, 2024) announces and circularizes the new BIR Logo. The design was selected from almost 600 entries, with the Top 3 Best Entries chosen by the BIR Management Committee serving as the basis for the new logo, which was evaluated by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines and approved by the Office of the President. The logo embodies 'Bagong BIR sa Bagong Pilipinas' and the mandate of 'Bringing In Revenues for Nation-building,' and its symbols reflect the BIR's thrust to modernize infrastructure and digitalize core processes and frontline services. The original approved logo and NHCP documents are kept at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner - Resource Management Group, National Office, and use of the new logo begins August 2, 2024.
