Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 97-2024 (issued September 2, 2024) amends RMC No. 86-2024 relative to the New BIR Logo. The Circular presents the new logo as embodying the 'Bagong BIR sa Bagong Pilipinas' performing its mandate of 'Bringing In Revenues for Nation-building,' and states that the symbols in the logo (Annex A) encapsulate the BIR's thrust to modernize its infrastructure and digitalize its core processes and frontline services, guided by the principle of 'service excellence with integrity and professionalism.' Use of the new BIR Logo shall start on August 2, 2024. The Circular is a branding/administrative issuance and imposes no new tax obligations on taxpayers.
