Reference copy · verify against the official sourceRMO No. 13-2023 (April 3, 2023) amends Section 2.1 of RMO No. 47-2022 on the allowable period and additional requirements for BIR officials' and employees' Work from Home (WFH) requests. Approved WFH arrangements may not exceed three (3) months, though applicants may re-apply subject to re-evaluation/verification by the Head of Office. A WFH request must be a letter request with supporting documents: for situational conditions, an Affidavit for WFH arrangement, a certified copy of the Revenue Special Order or Revenue Regional Special Order (for members of BIR Priority Projects or other task forces), and other proof of the employee's special function; for medical conditions, an Affidavit for WFH arrangement, a notarized Medical Certificate of the attending physician, and a notarized Medical Abstract and other Medical Records. The applicant must state the number of WFH days per week and the number of months the arrangement will cover.
