Reference copy · verify against the official sourceRMO No. 7-2026 (March 9, 2026) prescribes guidelines for the immediate implementation of energy efficiency and conservation measures in the BIR through a Four (4)-day Work Week Arrangement (FWWA): all on-site employees work on-site Monday to Thursday (8:00am-5:00pm, lunch 12:00pm-1:00pm) and work from home every Friday, except offices performing frontline services in the National Office, Revenue Regions, and the Large Taxpayers Service (LTS). The ACIR of the LTS, Regional Directors, and Revenue District Officers must keep frontline services fully operational and adequately manned on all working days, including Fridays, using staggered or rotational schedules and temporary augmentation of personnel from other offices or units as needed; during tax filing and peak transaction periods, staffing must be adjusted and WFH/rotational arrangements may be suspended. Heads of Offices must ensure uninterrupted service, monitoring, attendance verification, and performance standards under RMO No. 47-2022 and CSC rules. The FWWA is an interim measure effective until lifted or sooner revoked by the President.
